Ver proyecto →The manufacturing process begins with cutting the glass. The multicolored and geometric glass pieces are surrounded by a metal rod, to later be welded together. In turn, the metal is worked, and from what was initially nothing more than a smooth surface, the most varied forms of arches, scrolls, battlements and other ornaments evoking architectural structures appear.
In the manufacture of our stained glass, brass is used entirely, which in turn is tinned on both sides, giving the set a robustness and durability far superior to similar works.

A centuries-old legacy that endures in every piece, inspired by the Alhambra and the traditions of Granada
An undisputed reference in the artisanal manufacture of lamps, lanterns and traditional Granada lighting systems. With over a century of experience (founded in 1911), this century-old company keeps alive the craft of forging and metalwork inspired by the patterns of the Alhambra.
Its creations illuminate the most emblematic corners of Granada, from the Albaicín to the Realejo, combining Andalusian heritage with later artistic movements of the city. Lanterns, sconces and lamps that capture the essence of Granada light.
With over 370 years of history, the Fajalauza® Ceramics Factory is the foremost exponent of traditional Granada ceramics. Its designs, inspired by the Nasrid mosaics of the Alhambra, have been handcrafted in the heart of the Albaicín for generations.
Its characteristic blues and greens, along with motifs of stars, pomegranates and Nasrid geometries, make its creations authentic works of art that beautify homes around the world.
Both Fajalauza ceramics and Hijos de Estevez lanterns share the same creative root: the majesty of the Alhambra. The geometric mosaics, eight-pointed stars, arabesques and calligraphic inscriptions that decorate the Nasrid palace have inspired Granada's artisans for centuries.
Two century-old traditions, one heart: Granada and its Alhambra
